1. Nature of Telehealth Services
PropPilot ("we," "us," "our," or "the Platform") operates a telehealth marketplace that connects patients with independently licensed physicians and healthcare providers for the evaluation and, where medically appropriate, treatment of weight management conditions using FDA-approved GLP-1 receptor agonist medications.
"Telehealth" or "telemedicine" refers to the delivery of healthcare services using electronic communications, information technology, or other means between a licensed healthcare provider and a patient who are not in the same physical location. PropPilot's telehealth services may involve:
- Asynchronous (store-and-forward) consultation: You submit a health assessment, photographs (if clinically relevant), and supporting health information through our secure platform. A licensed physician independently reviews your submission and renders a clinical determination without a real-time interaction.
- Synchronous (real-time) consultation: You participate in a live video consultation with a licensed physician via our HIPAA-compliant video platform. The provider is able to observe, evaluate, and interact with you in real time.
- Hybrid consultation: A combination of asynchronous assessment submission followed by real-time video consultation at the physician's clinical discretion.
The specific modality used for your consultation is determined by the treating physician based on clinical need and applicable state telehealth laws. Your physician will inform you of the consultation format before or at the time of your evaluation.
PropPilot is a healthcare marketplace. The physicians and providers on our platform are independent licensed professionals โ not employees of PropPilot. All clinical decisions, including whether to prescribe medication, are made solely by your treating physician.
2. Potential Benefits
Telehealth services may offer the following benefits compared to traditional in-person care:
- Convenient access to licensed physicians without travel, time off work, or in-person waiting rooms
- Faster access to clinical evaluation, particularly for patients in areas with limited access to in-person weight management specialists
- Continuity of care โ ongoing monitoring, follow-up, and prescription management accessible from home
- Reduced barriers to accessing evidence-based weight management treatment, including GLP-1 receptor agonist therapy
- Integrated lifestyle and coaching support alongside your clinical treatment plan
3. Limitations and Risks of Telemedicine
You acknowledge and understand the following limitations and risks inherent to telehealth services:
Clinical Limitations
- Physical examination constraints: Telehealth consultations cannot replicate a comprehensive in-person physical examination. Your treating physician cannot perform hands-on assessments, auscultation, palpation, or other physical examination techniques that may be clinically relevant to your care.
- Diagnostic limitations: Certain diagnoses may not be possible via telehealth. Laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic procedures may be ordered but must be completed at in-person facilities. Your physician will not have access to real-time diagnostic results during your telehealth consultation unless you provide them.
- Clinical judgment constraints: Your treating physician will make clinical decisions based solely on the information you provide through the Platform. Incomplete, inaccurate, or withheld health information may affect the quality and safety of your care. You are responsible for providing complete and truthful health history, including current medications, allergies, prior diagnoses, and relevant family history.
- In-person referral: Your physician may determine at any time that in-person evaluation or treatment is necessary and will not be able to continue providing care via telehealth for your condition. You agree to follow up with an in-person provider when clinically indicated.
Treatment-Specific Limitations for GLP-1 Therapy
- GLP-1 receptor agonist medications (including semaglutide and tirzepatide) are prescription-only medications. A prescription will only be issued after a licensed physician independently determines that the medication is medically appropriate for you based on your health assessment and clinical history.
- Prescriptions are issued only for FDA-approved, brand-name GLP-1 medications. PropPilot does not prescribe unapproved compounded medications.
- Your physician may determine that GLP-1 therapy is not appropriate for you โ including if you have contraindications such as a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2, pancreatitis, or other clinically relevant conditions. In that event, no prescription will be issued and you will receive a clinical explanation.
- Individual weight loss outcomes vary. Efficacy depends on adherence to medication, lifestyle modifications, and individual physiological factors. PropPilot does not guarantee specific weight loss results.
4. Technology Requirements and Disruptions
Telehealth services require a functioning internet connection, compatible device (smartphone, tablet, or computer), and access to our secure platform. You acknowledge that:
- Technical failures โ including internet outages, software errors, hardware malfunctions, or platform downtime โ may interrupt or delay your telehealth consultation
- In the event of a technical disruption during a consultation, your physician will attempt to contact you using an alternative method (such as by phone)
- PropPilot is not responsible for interruptions in service caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including third-party infrastructure failures
- You are responsible for ensuring you have a stable internet connection and compatible device for video consultations. Minimum requirements: broadband internet (at least 1.5 Mbps upload/download), a device with a functioning camera and microphone, and a current web browser or our mobile application
5. Confidentiality and Privacy
All telehealth consultations and health information transmitted through PropPilot are subject to our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices and Privacy Policy. We maintain HIPAA-compliant security standards for all electronic protected health information (ePHI), including:
- End-to-end encryption of video consultations and all PHI transmitted through the Platform
- TLS 1.2 or higher for all data in transit
- AES-256 encryption for PHI at rest
- Access controls limiting PHI to authorized personnel and your treating physician
- Business Associate Agreements with all third-party vendors who access PHI
You understand that despite these safeguards, no electronic transmission is 100% secure. In the event of a breach of your unsecured PHI, we will notify you as required by HIPAA and applicable state law.
Telehealth consultations will not be recorded without your explicit prior written consent. You agree not to record your consultation without the prior consent of your treating physician.

8. State-Specific Notices
Service Availability Notice: PropPilot's telehealth services are available only in states where telehealth prescribing of GLP-1 medications is permitted under state law and where PropPilot has licensed providers. Service availability varies and is subject to change. Completing a patient assessment does not guarantee that services are available in your state or that you will receive a prescription.
Telehealth laws and regulations vary significantly by state. By using PropPilot's services, you represent that you are physically located in a state where PropPilot currently operates. State-specific requirements that may apply to your care include:
Prescribing Standards
Each state has its own standards governing what conditions may be diagnosed and what medications may be prescribed via telehealth. Some states require an established patient-provider relationship or a prior in-person visit before a telehealth prescription may be issued. Your treating physician will comply with the telehealth prescribing standards of the state where you are located at the time of your consultation.
Mandatory In-Person Referral
Certain states require that telehealth providers refer patients for in-person evaluation in specified circumstances. If your state requires an in-person evaluation before a prescription can be issued, your physician will inform you and your prescription will be contingent on completion of that evaluation.
Recording Consent
Some states require the consent of all parties before a telehealth consultation may be recorded (two-party or all-party consent states). PropPilot does not record consultations without your explicit written consent. If you elect to record any portion of a consultation, you are required to obtain the prior consent of your treating physician and to comply with the recording laws of your state.
9. Provider Credentials and Accountability
All physicians and providers on PropPilot's platform are independently licensed healthcare professionals. PropPilot verifies provider credentials through:
- Primary source verification of medical licensure with the applicable state medical board(s)
- Verification of board certification through the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) where applicable
- DEA registration verification for prescribing providers
- National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) query during credentialing and at regular intervals thereafter
You have the right to verify your treating physician's license independently at any time through the medical board of the state where they are licensed. Your physician's name, license number, and state of licensure will be provided to you in connection with your consultation.
Providers on PropPilot's platform are independent contractors, not employees of PropPilot. PropPilot does not direct the clinical decisions of providers on its platform. All clinical decisions โ including the decision to prescribe or not prescribe medication โ are made solely by the treating physician based on their independent clinical judgment.
10. Withdrawing Consent
You may withdraw your consent to telehealth services at any time. Withdrawing consent will not affect your right to receive care from other providers or to seek in-person medical care. To withdraw consent:
- Contact us at support@proppilot-13.polsia.app with a written statement that you wish to withdraw consent
- Or notify your treating physician directly during your consultation
Withdrawal of consent will terminate your telehealth services going forward. It will not affect any clinical determinations already made by your physician or any prescriptions already issued. If you have an active prescription, you should contact your prescribing physician or a local in-person provider to discuss ongoing management of your care.
Withdrawal of consent and cancellation of services are governed by our Refund Policy.
